WARNING - Not for the faint hearted Ingredients: 12 red chilies, stemmed, seeded 3 lbs. of ground beef 3 cups of beef broth 1 can red kidney beans, drained 1 cup tomato sauce cup hot ketchup 2 medium onions, chopped 3tsp ground cumin 3 tsp. dried oregano 2 tsp. red-wine vinegar 2 tsp. ground cayenne 2 tbsp. Chili powder 1 tbsp. chopped garlic 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. extra hot horseradish 1 bay leaf |

2. Add the onions and garlic, and continue to cook for another 10 minutes. 3. Add chili powder. Stir in beef broth, tomato sauce, hot ketchup, cumin, oregano, horseradish, bay leaf and sugar. Simmer for one hour. 4. Add chilies and chili beans, continue to simmer for 30 minutes. Add the cayenne to increase the heat and additional water, if necessary. 5. Add the vinegar for the last ten minutes. Serves 6-8. Very Hot!! This recipe did me proud at a chili con carne cook-off contest. People came back for 2nds, 3rds and more.
