FRUITED TURKEY ROAST

Ingredients:
3 lb. Frozen, boneless turkey roast, thawed
1 10-oz. Jar cherry preserves
1 8oz-can pineapple, crushed, drained
2 tbsp. Orange juice
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
2 tbsp. Cranberry sauce
1 green chili (Optional)
Dash cloves

Method:
1. In a crockery cooker put in turkey; cover and cook on a low-heat setting for around about 8 hrs.
2. Just before serving, prepare the sauce. In a pot combine all listed ingredients. Heat thoroughly.
3. To serve turkey warm, place the roast onto a serving platter. Let stand 10 minutes. Before carving. Use some of the sauce and spoon over turkey. Pass remaining sauce.
4. If you choose to serve turkey cold, remove turkey from cooker. Promptly refrigerate meat to cool off. When chilled, cover meat. Chill sauce.
5. Slice turkey then arrange on a platter. Serve sauce over slices.

Makes 10 –12 servings.
