Great anytime..... Ingredients : 3 Lbs. chicken wings 3 tbsp. cooking oil 4 tbsp. white vinegar 4 red habenero's (or red hot pepper, your choice) Soaked, blended and seeded. (Keep seeds in, if you're really adventurous) 1 cup hot ketchup 1 tsp. salt |
|
Method: 1. Preheat oven to 350oF (175oC) 2. Soak peppers in boiled water for 10 minutes or until peppers are soft. 3. Place peppers and vinegar in a blender. Puree until smooth, remove, strain and pour into a dish. 4. Add oil, ketchup & salt into the dish. Stir. Then coat wings in the sauce. 5. On a non-stick baking sheet, place the wings. Brush them over with sauce. Bake at 350oF (175oC) for 25 minutes, brush again with hot sauce. Finish baking for another 20 minutes. 6. Pour the rest of the sauce over the wings. ( optional ) Makes about 34 - 37 wings. Serve with the traditional celery, carrot sticks and blue cheese. Beer is your choice. My husband swears by Marston's Pedigree ( an English Beer ) |
